City of Rio Rancho Announces Facility Re-Openings

A swath of sunshine and hope swept through Rio Rancho today. Based on the governor’s re-assessment of Covid19 safety progress, the City of Rio Rancho announced that many city facilities will re-open on Monday, March 1, 2021, albeit with limited hours, services and occupancy.

OPEN 8 am to 12 noon: M-F *City Hall *Police Department – front desk, lobby, records (evidence retrieval by appointment only) CALL FIRST for appointment: *Animal Resource Center *Aquatic Center *Meadowlark Senior Center (limited/modified activities) *City MVD Office ($10 added transaction fee) *Libraries – limited browsing, check with each library for days/hours/capacity REMAINING CLOSED: Community centers (Cabezon, Haynes, Sabana Grande, Star Heights) For a complete list of all locations, services/hours and contact information use this link: https://www.rrnm.gov/4466/Information-about-City-Facilities-and-Se
