ClearSky Health to Bring 100 Additional Jobs to Community

After almost a year of working with ClearSky Health, we are excited to finally be able to share with our partners that ClearSky Health, a rehabilitative healthcare provider, plans to open an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Rio Rancho.

This is a win for Rio Rancho and the surrounding communities not only because of the jobs ClearSky will create, but also because of the quality care and services they will provide. ClearSky is a perfect example of the top notch businesses that our community can attract, and their commitment to Rio Rancho bolsters our already strong healthcare reputation that companies and employees in all sectors find attractive. We are excited to celebrate their announcement today as well as their successes to come.

·  Job Creation: 100 new jobs

·  Sector: Life Sciences – Healthcare

·  Location: 2401 Westside Boulevard SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124

·  Building Square Footage: 33,292 SF

·  Expected Open Date: Fall 2020

·  Will Provide Service to 600 patients Annually

On Wednesday, May 20, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced June 18 as the date for the upcoming Special Session. Governor Lujan Grisham said that the session should conclude by that weekend. As New Mexico is expected to experience a budget shortfall next fiscal year, due to COVID-19 and oil prices, many agencies are bracing for cuts. It has not yet been announced if the session will be virtual or if legislators will attend in person.
