We hear a lot about the frontline responses of our doctors and nurses – but it requires a lot of detailed standard work to sanitize and disinfect the hospital environment to protect both our patients and staff. Our housekeepers are truly unsung heroes. Housekeepers work around the clock to clean potential Covid-19 patient rooms, discharged Covid-19 rule out rooms and other potentially infectious rooms.

Daily the hospital is staffed with highly trained and knowledgeable housekeepers whose main focus is to keep patient care areas and public areas clean and disinfected to prevent the spread of germs. The Housekeeping department has increased efforts to disinfect high touch points to include door knobs, light switches, elevator buttons and etc. so that everyone at SRMC feels safe and comfortable providing or seeking care. Thank you Housekeeping, for your dedication & hard work!
